ADERE
I am the spokesperson of ADERE, the Association of Research and Teaching Team Directors at ULiège. ADERE represents a group of professors and researchers who want to improve the working life of team leaders by, for instance, increasing daily support and reducing bureaucracy overhead.

UNIFRA
I also founded UNIFRA, the Union pour les Universités Francophones, an independent, politically unaffiliated inter-university movement. It was originally founded with the aim of initiating discussions about the 2025–2026 Belgian government reforms.

Science for policy
I contribute to international expert groups and assessment processes on the changing ocean, including the IOC-UNESCO Global Ocean Oxygen Network (GO2NE) and the UN Ocean Decade programme GOOD, Global Ocean Oxygen Decade.
